The Chawkbazar Shahi Mosque is a Mughal-era mosque in the old city of Dhaka, built in 1676 during the governorship of Shaista Khan. Raised on a vaulted platform above a busy marketplace, it follows the classic three-domed Mughal plan with an arched facade and corner turrets. The elevated arcade beneath once housed shops whose rents supported the mosque's upkeep. Standing amid the dense commerce of Chawkbazar, it is among the oldest surviving Mughal religious buildings in the Bangladeshi capital.
