Tasmanian Museum and Art Gallery

This combined museum and gallery near the Hobart waterfront occupies a cluster of heritage buildings, including one of the oldest structures in Australia, a colonial commissariat store. Its collections span the natural history of Tasmania, the culture and dispossession of its Aboriginal peoples, colonial art and the story of the island's convict past.
