Created on the site of a former iron and steel foundry, this large urban park preserves the towering blast furnaces and industrial buildings of Monterrey's manufacturing past amid gardens, lakes and walkways. The rusting machinery has been repurposed into museums, concert venues and cultural spaces, blending heritage with recreation. A canal links the grounds to the city's riverside walk, and families come to cycle, boat and stroll. The contrast of green lawns against the steelworks makes it one of the country's most distinctive parks.
