Facing Independence Mall in Philadelphia, this museum is devoted entirely to the United States Constitution and the ideas it embodies. Opened in 2003, its interactive galleries invite visitors to explore the branches of government, landmark court cases, and ongoing constitutional debates. A theatrical multimedia presentation traces the document's creation in the very city where it was drafted, and Signers' Hall displays life-size bronze statues of the delegates to the 1787 convention.
