A broad paved walkway running for several kilometres along the Atlantic shore of Cape Town's Sea Point suburb. Backed by apartment blocks and fronted by rocky coastline, it draws walkers, cyclists, joggers and families throughout the day, with public art installations and outdoor gyms along the route. The promenade offers uninterrupted views across the ocean toward Robben Island and spectacular sunsets. Tidal pools and grassy verges line the path, and it remains one of the city's most popular free recreational spaces.
