St. Andrew's Church is an Anglican church near the Grand Socco in Tangier, consecrated in the 1890s on land granted by the sultan to the city's British community. Its most remarkable feature is the interior, where Moorish craftsmen decorated the chancel with carved plaster and the Lord's Prayer rendered in Arabic script, blending Christian worship with local artistic tradition. The tranquil churchyard shaded by cypress and palms holds the graves of many notable residents of Tangier's cosmopolitan past. It remains active for services.
