This vast presidential complex on the edge of the Atatürk Forest Farm outside central Ankara was completed in the 2010s as the official seat of the head of state. Comprising a very large number of rooms across a sprawling low-rise structure, it blends Seljuk and Ottoman decorative motifs with monumental modern scale. The secured compound includes reception halls, offices and gardens within extensive grounds. Its enormous size and cost made it a subject of national debate, and it is the country's most conspicuous seat of executive power.
