The Eretz Israel Museum is a large multidisciplinary museum in the Ramat Aviv district of Tel Aviv, spread across several pavilions in a landscaped campus. Its collections cover archaeology, ethnography, folklore, glass, ceramics, coins, and the history of writing and crafts. The grounds surround the ancient mound of Tel Qasile, where excavations uncovered a Philistine temple. A planetarium and outdoor exhibits complement the galleries, surveying the material culture of the land over thousands of years.
