Blenduk Church is the oldest Protestant church in Central Java, standing at the heart of Semarang's old town among the Dutch colonial buildings of the historic quarter. Rebuilt in its present form in the eighteenth century, it takes its local nickname from the large copper dome that crowns the octagonal structure, flanked by twin bell towers with clocks. Inside, a baroque pipe organ, curved balconies and stained glass survive from the colonial period.
