The Sri Baduga State Museum in Bandung presents the history, natural environment and cultures of West Java, named after a revered king of the old Sundanese kingdom of Pajajaran. Housed partly in a building shaped like a traditional Sundanese house, its galleries display prehistoric finds, Hindu-Buddhist statuary, weapons, musical instruments, textiles and dioramas illustrating the customs of the region's peoples. Exhibits trace the land from geological formation through ancient kingdoms to the modern era, offering a broad introduction to.
