Bahay Tsinoy

Bahay Tsinoy is a museum within Intramuros dedicated to the history and contributions of the Chinese-Filipino community across the centuries. Its galleries trace the arrival of Chinese traders in pre-colonial times, their role under Spanish rule, and their lasting influence on commerce, cuisine, and culture. Life-sized dioramas, artefacts, and archival documents recount episodes of both integration and persecution. The museum offers a focused perspective on a community central to the story of Manila.
