This museum in the former capital occupies the two-storey house where the country's independence leader lived with his family in the years before his assassination, including the childhood home of his daughter, later a prominent political figure. Preserved with original furniture, personal effects, photographs and documents, the rooms offer an intimate portrait of the family's domestic life and the leader's role in the independence struggle. A quiet garden compound surrounds this personal historical site.
