A large rooftop Ferris wheel crowning the Miramar Entertainment Park in the Dazhi area, rising about a hundred metres above the shopping complex. Since opening in 2004 it has been a familiar feature of the northern Taipei skyline, its coloured lighting visible across the Keelung River basin at night. Enclosed gondolas offer slow-turning views over the city toward the surrounding hills and the distant tower of Taipei 101. The mall below combines cinemas, shops, and dining, making the wheel a popular family and evening outing.
