A design and exhibition district occupying a former tobacco factory built in 1937, its low Japanese-modernist warehouses arranged around a central courtyard and a baroque garden. After the plant closed, the site was preserved and reopened as a hub for design fairs, galleries, and creative studios. The neighbouring Taiwan Design Museum and a curving library by a noted architect complement the industrial halls. Old boiler rooms and warehouses now host rotating art shows, while a shaded ecological pond draws visitors.
