This large Orthodox church in central Yekaterinburg was raised on the site of the house where the last Russian imperial family, the Romanovs, were executed in 1918. Completed in the early 2000s in a Russian-Byzantine revival style, it is properly the Church on Blood in Honour of All Saints. Its golden domes crown a two-level structure, with a lower memorial chapel marking the location of the killings. The church anchors a broader pilgrimage route and ranks among the most visited religious monuments in the Urals.
