Lviv National Art Gallery

This is the largest art museum in Ukraine, holding tens of thousands of works spread across historic palaces and buildings in Lviv. Its collections range from European old masters and religious art to sculpture, prints and decorative pieces gathered over more than a century. One of its principal branches occupies a former aristocratic palace with grand period rooms and a garden. Visitors can spend hours among the paintings, or focus on a single palace to enjoy both the art and the restored interiors that frame it.
