Lake Malta is a long artificial lake on the eastern edge of Poznań, created in the 1950s as a rowing and recreation venue and now a major leisure area. Its regatta course hosts international rowing and canoeing events, while the shoreline draws walkers, cyclists and runners along landscaped paths. Nearby attractions include a ski slope with year-round artificial snow, a thermal water park, a small zoo and a tourist railway. The mix of sport and family attractions makes it a popular outdoor destination.
