The Poznań Croissant Museum is a lively interactive museum in a historic tenement on the old market square, devoted to the region's famous St. Martin's croissant. During live demonstrations, staff in period costume show visitors how the rich, poppy-seed pastry is folded, filled and baked, weaving in the history and legends behind it. Sessions are part cooking class, part comic performance, held in Polish and English. Protected as a regional speciality, the croissant is sampled at the end.
