The Parish Church of St. Stanislaus, known simply as the Fara, is Poznań's most opulent Baroque church, its pink façade rising over the old town streets. Built by Jesuits over several decades and completed in the early 18th century, its interior overwhelms with monumental marbled columns, gilded altars and swirling stucco. The church is renowned for its historic pipe organ, and free concerts are regularly held beneath the vaults. The theatrical space contrasts sharply with the restrained houses around it.
