This preserved light cruiser berthed in Belfast's Alexandra Dock is one of the few surviving warships from the Battle of Jutland in 1916. Launched in 1914, she served through the First World War and remained in naval use for decades afterward, later acting as a training and headquarters ship in the harbour. Restored as a floating museum, her engine rooms, mess decks and gun positions are open to visitors, with exhibits on naval life and the great sea battle. She is a rare relic of early twentieth-century warship design.
