Techniquest

This science discovery centre in Cardiff Bay was among the first of its kind in Britain when it opened, and it remains a fixture for families and school trips. Its hall is filled with hands-on exhibits demonstrating principles of physics, engineering and biology, from air cannons to optical puzzles. A planetarium and a science theatre run regular live demonstrations and shows. Long focused on inspiring young people in science and technology, the centre underwent a major expansion and refurbishment to widen its range of interactive experiences.
