Tikhvin Cemetery (Necropolis of Masters of Arts)

Part of the Alexander Nevsky Lavra, this cemetery reorganised in the Soviet era gathers the tombs of composers and writers including Tchaikovsky and Dostoevsky. Elaborate 19th-century monuments make it an outdoor gallery of funerary sculpture.
