A small island accessible by a short ferry from Incheon's coast, Muuido offers the closest sandy beach escape to Seoul and a relaxed contrast to the mainland metropolis. Hanagae Beach, sheltered within a south-facing bay, exposes broad tidal mudflats at low tide and is framed by forested hillsides. The island's interior ridge trail provides elevated views over the Yellow Sea and surrounding island groups.
