Songwol-dong Fairy Tale Village

A once-declining old neighborhood near Incheon's Chinatown revitalized by painting its walls and alleys with scenes from well-known fairy tales and children's stories. Sculptures and murals of familiar characters line the lanes, turning the district into a colorful open-air attraction for families and photographers. The project, completed in the 2010s, brought new life to the historic port quarter. Small themed cafes and shops cluster among the decorated houses, pairing well with a walk through the adjoining heritage streets.
