The widest natural waterfall in Estonia, where the Jägala river drops over a limestone escarpment roughly eight metres high and up to 50 metres wide, located about 25 kilometres east of Tallinn. In spring, high water transforms the falls into a broad curtain of white water, while in cold winters the spray freezes into elaborate ice formations along the cliff face. The site is accessible by road and is one of the most visited natural landmarks near the Estonian capital.
