One of the seven mountains surrounding Bergen, rising to 320 metres above the city centre and accessible by the Fløibanen funicular, which has operated since 1918. The summit platform offers a direct view down onto the city's roofline, the Bryggen wharf, and the fjord extending westward toward the open sea. A network of walking trails radiates from the summit through forested hills, connecting to the neighbouring mountain of Rundemanen.
