Parque México is a landscaped park at the heart of the Condesa district of Mexico City, laid out in the 1920s on the oval site of a former horse-racing track. Its curving paths follow the old track's outline through lush subtropical planting of palms, ferns and flowering trees. Art Deco features include a curved pergola, fountains and a clock tower reflecting the neighbourhood's architecture. The park is a lively social hub, with dog walkers, dancers and families filling its shaded walks and open lawns.
