The Pesti Vigadó is a grand nineteenth-century concert and ceremonial hall on the Danube embankment in Budapest, long used for major public and state occasions. Rebuilt after an earlier hall was destroyed, its exuberant Romantic facade blends Hungarian folk motifs with historicist ornament. The building has hosted concerts, receptions, and cultural events of national importance, and today houses exhibition galleries and a rooftop terrace with river views. Its decorated interiors and riverside position make it a Pest landmark.
