This crocodile attraction in central Darwin lets visitors get close to the giant saltwater crocodiles for which the Top End is famous. Housed in a purpose-built complex, it holds some of the largest crocodiles in captivity along with reptiles and a display of native fish. Its best-known feature is the Cage of Death, a clear cylinder lowered into a crocodile enclosure so that visitors can float face-to-face with the animals underwater. Feeding demonstrations and reptile handling round out a dramatic wildlife experience.
