Estación Central del Ferrocarril

The former central railway station of Asunción recalls the era when Paraguay operated one of South America's earliest railways, linking the capital to the interior. The nineteenth-century building, with its arcaded platform and period offices, now serves as a railway museum preserving vintage locomotives and carriages.
