The presidential palace of Tajikistan, a grand white building topped by a large dome standing amid landscaped grounds in central Dushanbe. Completed in the 2000s, its classical facade and gilded dome were designed as a monumental seat of state near the national flagpole and museum. It hosts official ceremonies and receptions and forms part of the redeveloped government quarter. Though closed to visitors, its scale and setting make it a defining feature of the capital's skyline.
