Tucked into the Bang Rak district, this small museum occupies a cluster of early twentieth-century houses that once belonged to a Bangkok family, preserved with much of their original furniture and everyday objects. The rooms recreate middle-class urban life from the pre-war decades, with kitchens, bedrooms and living spaces arranged as if the residents had just stepped away. Set around a leafy garden, the free compound offers an intimate glimpse of domestic history unlike the grand palaces elsewhere.
