A major road bridge spanning the Han River between the Gangnam and Gwangjin districts of Seoul, carrying heavy commuter traffic between the northern and southern halves of the city. Opened in the early 1980s, it forms part of the ring of crossings that stitch the vast metropolis together across its defining waterway. Riverside parks at either end offer bicycle paths, lawns, and viewpoints from which the bridge's spans and the surrounding high-rise skyline are visible, particularly striking when illuminated after dark.
