A park in the southeastern city organized around a chain of connected lakes whose name means dragon pool. Created in the twentieth century on former marshland, it offers boating, willow-shaded promenades, and rockery-and-pavilion gardens in the classical manner. The grounds are best known for the large traditional fair staged here each lunar new year, when the paths fill with folk performers, craft vendors, and food stalls. Its wide water and open lawns make it a favored place for kite-flying and family outings.
