Opened in 2016 in a converted flour-storage building on a former confectionery factory site, this private Moscow museum is devoted to Russian painters who worked in an impressionist manner from the late nineteenth century onward. The industrial silo was reclad in perforated metal to create a sleek contemporary shell around a growing permanent collection and ambitious temporary shows. Works by artists such as Korovin and Serov hang in its flexible modern galleries.
