St. Nicholas Church, Gdańsk

St. Nicholas Church is among the oldest churches in Gdańsk and one of the very few in the city centre to survive the Second World War almost undamaged. A tall brick Gothic hall church, it belongs to the Dominican order and preserves a wealth of original Baroque furnishings, including a black-and-gold high altar, carved stalls and old paintings that were lost elsewhere.
