Artus Court is a richly decorated Gothic and Renaissance meeting hall on the Long Market, once the gathering place of Gdańsk's merchant elite and brotherhoods. Named after the legendary King Arthur, it hosted banquets, trade dealings and civic ceremonies in a single soaring room. Inside stands one of the tallest tiled stoves in Europe, along with model ships, carved benches and painted decoration reflecting Baltic commerce. Now a branch of the city museum, the restored interior evokes the old Hanseatic port.
