Kaknäs Tower is a tall telecommunications tower on the eastern edge of Stockholm, built in the 1960s as a hub for radio and television broadcasting. Rising well above the surrounding woodland of the national city park, it long featured public observation levels offering panoramic views over the capital, its islands and the archipelago. The stark concrete form became a recognisable landmark on the skyline and a symbol of the era's modern engineering.
