Turku Market Square

The Market Square is the central open space of Turku and has long served as the commercial and social heart of the city. Surrounded by shops, historic buildings and the domed Orthodox church at one edge, it hosts open-air stalls selling produce, flowers and crafts. Trams and buses converge nearby, making it a natural meeting point and the setting for seasonal markets and public events.
