Maritiman is a floating maritime museum in Gothenburg's harbour made up of historic vessels moored together and open for visitors to board and explore. The collection includes a destroyer, a submarine, lightships, tugs and other working craft that illustrate the region's naval and industrial seafaring past. Gangways and ladders connect the ships, letting visitors move below decks into engine rooms, cramped quarters and command spaces. The open-air setting on the river gives a direct sense of scale and life aboard these preserved craft.
