National and University Library of Slovenia

Designed by architect Jože Plečnik, this library is a masterpiece of interwar Slovenian architecture. Its facade mixes brick and stone, while the grand staircase leads dramatically to a light-filled reading room. It anchors Ljubljana's architectural heritage.
