Ivan Vazov National Library

The public library of Plovdiv is named after Bulgaria's national poet Ivan Vazov and ranks among the country's largest. Founded in the late nineteenth century, it holds regional manuscripts and rare Revival-era publications. It occupies a stately building in the old city.
