Norra begravningsplatsen (Northern Cemetery)

Opened in 1827, this large cemetery north of central Stockholm holds the tombs of Alfred Nobel, August Strindberg and many other Swedish notables. Broad avenues and a crematorium chapel sit among mature parkland.
