Old Jewish Cemetery, Wrocław

Founded in 1856, this walled cemetery is one of the best-preserved Jewish burial grounds in Central Europe, with monumental tombs of Breslau's industrialist and scholarly families. Ivy-covered mausoleums and Hebrew-inscribed stelae stand under a canopy of old trees.
