Downtown Candlemas Church of the Blessed Virgin Mary

A domed building on the main square of Pécs, raised in the 1540s as the Mosque of Pasha Qasim and converted to a Catholic church after the Ottomans withdrew. Its wide green dome and mix of Ottoman and Christian features make it the largest surviving Turkish structure in Hungary.
