This small white village in Cádiz province is built into and beneath the overhanging rock faces of a narrow river gorge. Houses and shops are literally sheltered under volcanic tufa cliffs, creating streetscapes unlike any other in the region. The Calle Cuevas del Sol and Calle Cuevas de la Sombra are the two most photogenic canyon-street corridors.

Where next?

The world is wide open.
