Ronda sits atop a dramatic gorge carved by the Guadalevín River in the Málaga province of Andalusia. The Puente Nuevo bridge, spanning the El Tajo gorge at roughly 120 metres, offers one of the most photographed viewpoints in Spain, best captured in the late afternoon when warm light rakes across the cliff faces. The old town retains Moorish street patterns and a bullring dating to the 18th century.
