A glacier arm descending from the Jostedalsbreen ice cap into Jostedalen valley in Luster municipality, one of the most accessible and visited outlets of the main glacier. The ice front terminates at a meltwater lake, and the approach from the visitor centre involves a short boat crossing and a walking path over glacially polished rock. Guided blue-ice hikes allow visitors to walk on the glacier surface itself during the summer months.
