Trælanípa is the western cliff edge above Sørvágsvatn lake on the island of Vágar, forming the dramatic escarpment from which the famous 'lake above the ocean' photograph is taken. The cliff drops approximately 142 metres to the sea below, and on a clear day the Atlantic horizon extends to the west. Access is currently managed as a guided hike departing from Miðvágur.
