Sejm

The Sejm complex in Warsaw is the seat of the lower house of the Polish parliament, a group of interwar and later buildings on Wiejska Street. The circular main debating chamber, built in the 1920s, is ringed by a colonnade and remains the symbolic heart of Polish legislative life. The complex was rebuilt after wartime destruction and has expanded with modern wings and committee rooms. Guided visits and open days allow citizens to see the assembly hall and learn about parliamentary traditions rooted in the earlier noble diets.
